Fish Curry Ingredients:
• 1 kg fish
• 2 tsp red chilli powder
• 2 tsp salt or as per taste
• 1 tsp turmeric powder
• 2 tsp coriander powder
• 2 tsp garam masala powder
• 2-3 tbs lemon juice
• 2 tbsp yoghurt
• 2 medium sized onions, finely chopped
• 2 large tomatoes, chopped
• 2 tbs garlic-ginger paste
• bunch of chopped coriander leaves
• 2-3 green chillies chopped

How to Prepare:
Cut the fish into medium size pieces, wash them and leave to dry. Mix the lemon juice and half of the salt, rub on fish and leave to marinate for 30 minutes or longer. In a large pan, fry chopped onions in oil until brown. When they are brown, add garlic-ginger paste and fry for few seconds and not more or the onions may burn. Now, add red chilli powder, remaining salt, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder and green chillies. Fry for a few seconds and then add tomatoes. Add little water to cook the tomatoes until they are tender. Then add yoghurt and cook for 2 minutes. Finally, add the fish pieces and coat them with the mixture well. Reduce the heat to low, add 1 glass of water and cover the pan with it's lid. Allow the fish to cook for 10 minutes or until done.Don't stir too often Keep checking the fish in order to prevent it from sticking to the pan. Keep the curry consistency as desired. Garnish the Fish Curry with coriander leaves. Serve with naan or chapati. Note: The fish can also be fried beforehand instead of directly cooking.
